Claire Brewer - SEND Consultant & Teacher, Rooted Learning Education Consultancy Ltd
Location: London, UK wide
After teaching and leading in special needs schools in London for 10 years, I am now a borough wide inclusion teacher supporting children with SEND in mainstream settings. As a specialist SEND consultant, I work with schools to ensure that teachers and TAs are supported to ensure the best outcomes for children with SEND, through direct work in classrooms and facilitating training.
I have a Masters degree in Special and Inclusive Education and strongly believe in promoting evidence-based practice within schools. I co-authored ‘101 Inclusive and SEN Maths Lessons: Fun and Activities' and 'Lesson Plans for P Level Learning’ , which promote creative, collaborative teaching and learning within all classrooms regardless of setting.
I am available to deliver the Maximising the Practice of TAs training in London and across the UK.
