James Blackwell - Headteacher, Lark Hill Community Primary School
Location: North-west England
I have had extensive senior leadership experience including 3 Headships and working for local authorities in various roles. I am currently the Headteacher of a 3 form inner-city primary school in Salford serving an increasingly mobile population with high levels of deprivation, SEN and EAL. I am also an Ofsted Inspector.
I have worked with a range of educational leaders as a consultant and I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Consultancy and Coaching. I have worked as a Primary School Improvement Partner and have worked across two local authorities offering support to Headteachers. My particular areas of expertise are in leadership and management, primary education, behaviour and the early years. I have facilitated various training programmes for a range of audiences including teachers, support staff, governors and senior leaders.
I am available to deliver the Maximising the Practice of TAs training across North-west England.
