I have extensive teaching experience and have worked as a SENDCO in both primary and secondary schools. I have worked as an EAL advisory teacher, and as an LA officer in SEND and strategic development teams. I have also been an acting headteacher of a primary school.
I am currently the SEND Lead for Unity Schools Partnership: a Trust of 22 schools, including a special school. I have worked as a visiting lecturer for the Faculty of Education, Cambridge, and I am an associate lecturer for Best Practice Network, delivering National SENCO Award training.
