I plan and manage professional development programmes and development projects with schools, school clusters and local authorities. I lead on our Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants (MPTA) work, having researched and carried out extensive training and development work in the area of teaching assistant practice.
Recent writing includes the book The Teaching Assistant's Guide to Effective Interaction and research papers, which can be downloaded here.
I have taught and led on PGCE and Masters level programmes, and before my extensive experience in Higher Education and training I worked as a primary school teacher for 12 years in London schools.
