About this website

Welcome to

We are a coalition of advisors, trainers and researchers based at the Centre for Inclusive Education, UCL Institute of Education. We've produced leading national guidance on making best use of teaching assistants and contributed to the new professional standards for TAs.

Our aim is to help schools ensure TAs thrive in their role and can support improved outcomes for pupils. We do this through our school improvement programme for senior leaders and by delivering CPD for TAs and teachers.

On this website, you can find out about our courses and events, the extensive research that underpins what we do, download articles and resources, plus keep up to date with via our blog.
